cleverbridge, a provider of ecommerce and subscription billing solutions for monetizing digital goods, online services and SaaS, announces it has been named a finalist for three 2018 SVC Awards. cleverbridge is a finalist for Digitalization Project of the Year, Orchestration/Automation Innovation of the Year and Automation Company of the Year. The awards work to recognize the achievements of end-users, channel partners and vendors alike. Digitalization Project of the Year recognizes an information and communication technologies project that has incorporated one or more digital technologies to transform a business model and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities. Orchestration/Automation Innovation of the Year is awarded to a product or service that delivers IT orchestration and/or automation to the enterprise, including IoT, artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Automation Company of the Year recognizes a company supplying a range of IT Automation products and/or technologies/solutions and services in the EMEA Market.
All SVC Awards finalists are selected by the Digitalisation World editorial team, but winners will be determined by public online voting from now until November 9 at www.svcawards.com/vote. Past award winners include Google, Dell, NetApp and Veeam Software.
“In today’s digital world, B2B companies must now compete with an online buying and renewal experience standard set by leading B2C companies, or they risk losing customers. However, as companies transition to subscription business models and the demand for a ‘consumer-like’ online buying experience increases, so does the cost and complexity of delivering a seamless experience throughout the customer journey – from purchase to renewal,” said Craig Vodnik, CEO, cleverbridge, Inc. “With our subscription commerce solution and Quote-to-Cart functionality, B2B software and SaaS companies are not only able to deliver a better buying experience, but also automate sales and service processes to reduce acquisition and retention costs, and increase efficiency. We view the SVC Awards recognition as more validation of our efforts to help companies lower the cost to serve customers, while growing revenue faster.”
Price fluctuations, customer-specific pricing, volume discounts, and complexly configured products all factor into a manual, time-consuming quote-to-order process for most B2B sales teams. However, leading companies such as SmartBear use cleverbridge’s Quote-to-Cart functionality to extend its Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) to automate high-velocity order and renewal processes. Sales teams are able to generate, issue and process instant customized customer price quotes that accept a variety of online and offline payment methods to meet the unique needs of business buyers, minimizing the time and resources needed to move customers from click to close. Since implementing the Quote-to-Cart process, SmartBear customers that renewed without sales assistance increased by 20 percent, drastically reducing retention costs and increasing efficiency. On average, SmartBear saves 18 hours per month per sales representative, freeing up sales and renewal teams to focus on higher-margin solution selling and value-added services selling.
