BitTorrent Selects cleverbridge to Drive Global Subscription Revenue
Torrent client software provider leverages cleverbridge’s subscription commerce solutions to maximize conversions and subscriber revenue while expanding globally
cleverbridge, a provider of ecommerce and subscription billing solutions for monetizing digital goods, online services and SaaS, announces BitTorrent, has selected cleverbridge to drive global online revenue for its torrent client and related products. BitTorrent, a business unit of TRON Foundation, will leverage cleverbridge’s subscription commerce platform to manage and bill yearly subscriptions of its various pricing packages, including uTorrent/BitTorrent (Ad-Free and Pro versions of both).
As a former cleverbridge client for five years, BitTorrent was lured away to another subscription management provider due to an enticing offer. However, after migrating its business, BitTorrent
experienced limitations with the new platform and its performance data, and saw a decrease in customer conversions and global online revenue.
