cleverbridge, a global full-service ecommerce provider for software and subscription companies, announces it will be will be participating in three speaking sessions at MRC’s 2015 U.S. and European Platinum Meetings to be held September 21-23 in New Orleans, Louisiana and September 30 – October 2 in Prague, Czech Republic. Organized by the Merchant Risk Council (MRC), the U.S. and European Platinum Meetings are the premier professional development and networking events for ecommerce payments and fraud professionals.
At the U.S. Platinum Meeting, cleverbridge Fraud Prevention Team Leader Tim Russo will join Jen Fogarty, Fraud Prevention Manager at Cars.com, and moderator Carmen Honacker, Director of Customer Advocacy at Threatmetrix, in the “Building vs Buying Your Fraud Solution” panel discussion on September 22 from 2:15-3:15 p.m. Card-not-present fraud is expected to rise over the next few years and, as a result, the conversation around the best fraud prevention tools has increased. Everyone has an opinion on whether it is more effective to build an in-house fraud solution or to outsource, but no two businesses are the same. During the panel, the three industry experts will share their thoughts and experiences concerning the prevailing question, should you “Build or Buy (Your Fraud Solution)?”
Russo will be moderating the same panel session at MRC’s 2015 European Platinum Meeting on October 2 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. He will be joined by Edoardo Fiorentini, Risk Manager at eBay Enterprises, and Neil Caldwell, VP European Sales at CyberSource.
Also at MRC’s European Platinum Meeting, cleverbridge Fraud Prevention Team Leader Torsten Knörr will host “Fraud Manager Discussion Table by Job Title” on October 2 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During the roundtable discussion, attendees can bring their questions and ideas to a less formal, more conversational format.
Earlier this year, Russo was named to the MRC U.S. Conference Committee, which assembles the content for the Platinum Meeting at the MRC Annual Conference, the MRC Annual General Conference and the Semi-Annual Platinum Meeting. Members of the committee help design the call for speakers process and performs the “gap analysis” to produce a comprehensive agenda. They also analyze data on attendance, job function and topics of member interest via click rates and evaluation suggestions.
