Gartner is a well-known industry analyst firm with offices around the globe. Each year, they publish dozens of research reports, called Magic Quadrants, that cover the vendor landscape for a particular industry, such as web content management or social CRM.
Each Magic Quadrant identifies companies within that specific field as leaders, challengers, visionaries, or niche players. These designations are based on those companies’ “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.” Ecommerce leaders use the Magic Quadrant as a benchmark and for input in making decisions about their business needs.
Once a year, Gartner publishes the Magic Quadrant for Ecommerce that covers a topic near and dear to this blogger’s heart. Although the license for the 2011 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Ecommerce has now expired, we will be licensing and offering the 2013 report for a complimentary download once it is published.
If you wish to receive an email with a link to the free report once it is published, simply sign up for our mailing list on the right side of this page.
